CINCINNATI, OHIO-BASED THERAPY FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

We’re here to help you heal, grow, and thrive at Conscious Roots Counseling.

It takes courage to turn around and face life’s tougher chapters—but once you can identify the root cause of your thoughts and feelings, you can change how you move forward.

That’s what we're all about at Conscious Roots Counseling.

Whether you’re processing past trauma, looking for expert help to support your child’s mental health, or need to get out of your own head and explore your feelings, therapy can be a powerful source of relief.

Ultimately, we hope to work ourselves out of a job—not because we don’t love what we do, but because we want to help you move forward feeling more free, resilient, and confident in managing your own mental health.

When you’ve processed your past experiences and learned new support strategies, you can ride life’s waves of discomfort without getting pulled under.

And after you’ve unearthed the roots of the weeds that have been weighing you down, you have so much more room in your life to grow flowers.

Why choose Conscious Roots?

Here’s our approach to therapy, and our promise to you.

  • WE BELIEVE IN BEING GENUINE.

It’s human nature to want to belong, to feel safe, and to be seen and heard. With us, you’re not just “a client” or a diagnosis—we’re all real humans with unique stories and experiences, and we commit to meeting you with sincerity and realness.

  • WE KEEP IT HONEST.

We’ll never make simplistic promises that tending to your mental health is easy—there’s room to keep it real with us. We always do our best to be transparent with you, especially around things like what to expect or how out-of-network insurance works, so you’re never left guessing.

  • AUTHENTICITY IS WELCOME HERE.

Therapy only really works if you like and trust your therapist, so we do our part to create a space where you can come as you are and accept your personal, unique, almost-always-messy journey of self-discovery and growth.

Healing doesn’t always happen in a straight line, and here, you have full permission to be imperfect.
